I am thankful for my washer and dryer. Despite the “service” that we’ve had to employ for them, they are absolutely fantastic pieces of technology. My mom’s stories of having to carpool to the laundromat with her friend and a baby in cloth diapers make me feel grateful that I actually have laundry equipment in my own home. Mine are new enough and pretty enough to almost make doing laundry a pleasure.
