Itching to work with… Quentin Tarantino! I keep wondering how one goes about casting/starring in a Tarantino film. I would love to know more about the twisted workings of his mind.
Listening to… “The One” by Mary J. Blige and Colbie Caillat’s new album, Breakthrough
Driving… my 2003 Toyota Corolla. I bought it new in 2002 with 26 miles on it. They’ve stuck with the same body style (pretty much) since then, so it looks like it could have rolled off the lot last year. It’s a great car to drive. I love that it’s so unassuming.
Shopping fix… San Francisco. Is there any better place to shop? (Okay, maybe NYC.) We stayed a block from Saks Fifth Avenue and Tiffany’s, but I’ve never been inside either store. I’m afraid I would cry.
Signature scent… This past weekend it was Strawberries & Champagne by Victoria’s Secret
Necessary extravagance… Boots for the fall. Somehow every year I need a new pair.
Maintenance must-haves… A claw clip. My hair is finally getting long enough to use it again!
Fear factor… I can’t watch depressing/upsetting movies at night. It really freaks me out. It’s one of the reasons I have *never* watched drama shows on television.
Currently craving… The delicious crepes from Squat & Gobble in San Francisco.
Speed dialing… My brother, my husband, and my mom are the only people I call. If they’re all with me, my phone never rings.
Latest splurge… Tickets to see the King Tut exhibit at the deYoung. We skipped the Academy of Sciences because the entrance fee was $25/person, then we paid $33 each for Tut. Whew.
If I weren’t a… girl, I’d be better at wrestling with my son!
Dreaming of… Hawaii. We are thinking of going back for our 5-year anniversary next year. I often look at the website for the hotel we stayed in, just to reminisce, even though we’ll probably never cough up that kind of money again.
Let me know if you play!
